BLOOD donors kept giving over the Easter weekend, despite fears that stocks could dry up.
Long weekends usually limit how much the National Blood Service can collect but this Easter bucked the trend.
Donors kept attending sessions and bloodstocks are currently good, according to Gareth Bell, regional representative for the National Blood Service.
The next blood donor session in Swindon will take place on Monday at the University of Bath in Swindon, Marlowe Avenue. Donors can attend from 1.15pm to 4pm and 5pm to 7.30pm.
