Hockey: Hosts held to draw
Wootton Bassett Ladies 3rd played out a 1-1 draw with Badgers in their rearranged Severn Division Three clash.
After a goalless first half, both teams created more chances in the second, Annabel Springthorpe scoring her first goal for the club before Badgers levelled.
On Saturday, Wootton Bassett have three friendlies.
The third team take on North Wilts at home (10am), the first team travel to City of Bath and the second string host North Wilts (11.30am).
North Wilts Ladies travel to Mendip on Saturday, April 5, knowing that a win will secure promotion spot to Wessex One.
With several players leaving the area for university at the end of the season, captain April Watts is keen to emulate the men who gained promotion to a higher division.
