SPORTY Swindon people have just a day left to enter this year's Festival of Sport.
The Challenge Swindon Festival Of Sport will run on May 31 and June 1.
Over that weekend, all kinds of activities will be going on and thousands of people are expected to take part.
Some of the weekend's focus will be on Coate Water, where dragon boat racing and beach volleyball tournaments will be staged.
Anyone interested in entering the event has to get their entry in by Friday.
About 40 staff at Catalent, the pharmaceutical manufacturers in Blagrove Industrial Estate, West Swindon, have already signed up for the dragon boat tournament.
Fran Creasey, executive assistant at Catalent Pharma Solutions, said: "Staff really enjoyed themselves last year.
"It's a great opportunity to do something a bit different with colleagues and, of course, get plenty of exercise in the process."
Dragon boat racing is just one of the sports that will be on offer during the competitive weekend.
Contests in angling, netball, badminton, squash, hockey, netball, tennis, inflatable human table football and boccia - a game similar to boules - are also part of the event, organised by Swindon Council.
Some of the planned sports are designed for individuals and others have been planned for teams so that as many people as possible enter the event.
Councillor Justin Tomlinson, cabinet member for leisure, culture and recreation, said: "Best of luck to everyone taking part in the Festival of Sport, which promises to be a fantastic weekend of fun and physical activity."
