    Wicked musical By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes - in the shape of a new show by Stage Struck to mark the theatre company's silver anniversary. Jane Marie Osborne is the director. She said: "With this being our 25th anniversary show we have decided to combine some new selections with a couple of old favourites." Something Wicked... includes comedy sketches alongside songs from shows such as Wicked, Hairspray, The Producers, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, High School Musical and more. The show is on Thursday and Friday at 7.30pm and next Saturday (May 17) at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are £10 from 01793 524481.

    Step back in time Around 20 youngsters from the junior section of a performing arts groups are bringing a piece of British history to life by recreating the days of Vaudeville. Songs in the style of The Old Kent Road and Come And Make Eyes At Me are the backdrop for Wroughton Amateur Dramatic Society's show, called Music Hall Shadows. The show is both written and directed by Jean Leo and runs at the Ellendune Centre in Wroughton, near Swindon, next Friday and Saturday (may 16 and 17). Tickets are £8 from 01793 813847 or 813307.
